RE: [FW1] another FTP problem

What this turned out to be was we were dropping ident packets in our cleanup. As soon as I created a
rule to reject them instead, we could connect to the FTP server.

Subject: [FW1] another FTP problem

We have a Check Point FW-1 4.1 SP2. I'm using WS_FTP LE to ftp files to a
web hosting site. When I connect I never get authenticated but eventually
receive a message saying - Receive error: Blocking call cancelled.

This site is running Serv-U FTP-Server v2.5i. I can conenct to other sites
without any trouble. I've tried connecting to the web hoster both
anonymously and with my userid. Has anyone seen this before.

Thanks,

Kevin Tyrrell
