RE: [FW1] Too many e-mail recipients

You can make this change by:

on NT: running Check Point Configuration and setting the field under the
SMTP Sec. Server tab

on UNIX: running $FWDIR/bin/cpconfig

Subject: [FW1] Too many e-mail recipients

Does the smtp resource limit the number of recipients an incoming e-mail can

be delivered to? The CIO of our parent company sent an e-mail to us last
night. It was supposed to go to about 1200 people. She got a bunch on
non-deliverable errors. I looked in the FW-1 log this morning, there was an
entry from her that was rejected with a reason of too many recipients.

Is there a way to increase the number of recipients? We're using Exchange
5.5 as our mail server.

Thanks,

Steve
