Is it possible you have a laptop that was reconnected to the internet
or do you have a remote user that dials into your firm. I have seen a
problem with DNS configuration that the user while out of office
changes DNS and then when he comes back on-line in company he is
using the wrong DNS.
Not sure if this is your problem but thought I would through it in.
Check the outside IP address to find out what it is.

Subject: [FW1] 169.254.X.X ip addresses in state table
I have been getting a lof of errors in my event log with some ip
addresses that do not belong to my network:
169.254.X.X
when i type in fw tab -t host_table > lichost.txt
I can see that the src ip is 169.254.X.X and destination to somewhere
on the internet.
Any idea of what and where this ip address is coming from?
Thanks
