i have to disagree with this
i have a number of nokia's working with vrrp.
you need a sync.conf file with the ip address of the opposite sync link
in it. (/opt/Firewall...../conf)
you need to do a fw putkey -n my_ip opposite_sync_link_ip
then it will work
