RE: [FW1] OSPF problem, please help

As OSPF is a multicats protocol it cannot be passed directly through the
firewall. OSPF can however be installed and configured on the firewall as
it's a supported routing protocol in gated (installed by default on hpux
10.20), or you can unicast the routing information between the routers with
eigrp.

Subject: [FW1] OSPF problem, please help
Importance: High

Hi,
I have two CISCO routers connected to the firewall via two different
network cards, and i need to let OSPF go through it.
I use CheckPoint VPN-1 v4.1 on HPUX B.10.20.

Have some IDEA ?

I read the article posted in SecureKnowledgeBase in CheckPoint site
but it was only for VPN Appliances ;-((

Is it possible to allow OSPF to pass through the Normal Firewall
( I mean not Nokia's Appliense )??

Thank you in advance.

Bis
