RE: [FW1] SecuRemote error

oops.  Didn't notice that they were working yesterday.  Certainly sounds like an expiration problem.

They might want to check for user expiration since they were working before. Check the expiration date under the user(s) and make sure they aren't expired.

Check the type of encryption they are defined to use in their user properties.  Most likely they are using the DES version of the software but are configured for 3DES in their properties.  It might be that they are set up for FWZ in the user properties but the client is trying to do IKE.

Subject: [FW1] SecuRemote error

Hello,

I have users trying to connect w/SecuRemote and now they are getting the error: "Negotiation with firewall at site ..xxx.xxx has failed.  The user is not defined properly."  Anybody have a clue what this means?  We acutally haven't touched the firewall today so I'm not sure what would have caused this.  We are using IKE.  CP FW-1 4.1 sp3...SecuRemote Build 4176.

Thank you,

Aeon
