RE: [FW1] Proxy ARP under W2K

Change providers - to one who will do what the client needs them to do...

Subject: [FW1] Proxy ARP under W2K

Has anyone come up with a solution on how to handle Proxy ARP (local.arp)
under W2K?

How about assigning the additional (proxied) IP addresses to the external
interface of the server (as recommended in the checkpoint KB, although it
doesn't state its applicability for W2K)

We've got a client whose provider is giving them a block of IP's, but
refuses to add routes for them.

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.
