In AIX's case, logical device name of the ethernet I/F is depened on frame type(enX or etX), so it will be better to change interface tab of the Workstation object of Firewalll module. >Is there any way or any information to distinguish the cause of this >problem FW-1 or AIX? My colleague has a trouble about LAN frame type. After he changed, verifyed and installed the rule of FW-1, LAN frame type that FW-1 forwards changed from Ethernet V2 to IEEE802.3.
