[FW1] SecureRemote/SecureClient Version Checking
As requested, here are the options you can add to your objects.C to
check the build of SecureRemote/SecureClient when users logon. If they
are using an older version, then a dialog box will pop-up with whatever
URL you specify for them to download the newest version.
In the :props section add the following:
:desktop_build_number (4157)
:desktop_sw_url_path
("http://www.checkpoint.com/cgi-bin/download.cgi";)
Substitute the build number to match the version you'd like them to be
running.
I have not tried this myself, so please let me know how it works.

There is an objects.C property that you can add to the management
station that has gone undocumented for a while. I believe it was
introduced in SP2. This property allows for version checking of
SecuRemote clients. If they are not up to the build number you specify,
they will receive a dialog box and a customizable link as to where to
download the latest version.
Please e-mail me directly and I will dig up what that command is for
you. I am out of town until later this week, but it is possible.
