Sounds like either: - You haven't added your IP address as a GUI client, or - You're trying to connect to a firewall module that is not a management module In the first case, the remedy is simply to add the IP address of your machine as a gui client by modifying $FWDIR/conf/gui-clients (Solaris/IPSO/Linux), or using the Firewall-1 configuration GUI (NT) In the second case, try the address of the management module instead. Firewall modules are only controlled by pushing policy to them from a management module (this is different than the GUI), not directly. Sorry if i'm stating the obvious... After I put in the username/password/server, the program just hangs. ============================================================================ ==== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ============================================================================ ==== ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
