Which version of FW1 and service pack level , plus version of interscan?
I personally try to avoid using FW1 as mail gateway because of this sort of
ongoing problem.
Have a look at

I have a Firewall with CVP set up, where the Interscan
Viruswall residing in the DMZ, and the sendmail server
in the LAN. Everything is working fine, except the
mails get stuck in the Firewall spool directory.
Anybody encounter this before? What should i do to
solve this problem?
