Re: [FW1] SUNWspci on FW-1/FG

Dan,

I used this at a previous company succesfully. The NT server was running intrusion detection management software (The actual detection software was on other boxes) and the SUN box was running FW-1 management and some other management tools. It was necessary to use NT for the intrusion detection as the selected tool did not run on Solaris.

It worked fine, and was much more convenient than having two physically separate machines.

Cheers

Anyone have a SUN box running a SUNPCI (PC-on-a-card) successfully? We're
thinking of having a NT server on the card to be the management station and
possibly a MetaIP console. We plan to do this on an Ultra 5, running
Solaris 7. The SUNPCI card is 1.3 (the 400 MHz version).

Thanks in advance!
