I do not remember the last time I had to reboot the NT firewall to fix a
problem. I think it was back in 1999 with V3.x
Performance has always been a known issue , but if you do *not* have
performance needs the arguement is irrelevant. Who needs a V* when 4cyl does
you just fine.
It has some known OS security issues but most OSs do.

It all depends on the business needs and the overall cost to purchase and
maintain.

I agree with these sentiments exactly.  I have used Checkpoint VPN1 on
IPSO, NT, Solaris and Linux.  Linux is my preference and out performs
Solaris.
NT isn't even close.
