I'm not sure if I understand the question in the original message, but using SecuRemote users can either authenticate themselves every time by entering login name and password, which is more secure, or just enable SSO option for SecuRemote to enter it for you. With SSO enabled you'll be logged in automatically and won't have to reenter your credentials after the session is timed out. It just uses the command line options of securemote : 'fwenc -n <user> -p <password>' or 'fwenc -c <entrust profile> -p <key for decrypting>' (See checkpoint's public configuration docs for more info : "How to cache win95 securemote config"). We are considering using VPN-1 with SR or SC. Currently the users are using a dial up connection that does not require them to input a password as it is done behind the scenes provided by a VPN service. Is this a common scenario for remote users? Do either of these clients provide this with or without scripting? Eliot Irons Information Services Security [email protected] This e-mail is confidential.
