[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [FW1] fw lichost giving erroneous information.
I've got a very strange problem with a CP 4.0 firewall on Solaris with build 4094 (SP5) (I need to get to at least SP7, I know). I've searched all the available archives of this list and havent seen only posts with the same problem, but no solutions. fw lichost consistently shows EXTERNAL addresses. Ive removed the fwd.h and fwd.hosts files and restarted. Ive CONFIRMED that my $FWDIR/conf/external.if file has the appropriate EXTERNAL interface in it (hme0) ========================from output of #fw lichosts hme0 25/1/2001 21:18> host:208.228.155.213 src:208.228.155.213(mail.nerds.net) dst:208.228.154.7(Barracuda-flounder) proto:tcp sport:smtp dport:32808 hme0 23/1/2001 21:21> host:208.228.155.243 src:208.228.155.243(www.topdownsoftware.com) dst:208.228.155.255 proto:udp sport:nbname dport:nbname hme0 23/1/2001 21:21> host:209.67.207.13 src:209.67.207.13(herndon10.his.com) dst:208.228.154.2(gatekeeper.dataprompt.com) proto:tcp sport:59065 dport:smtp hme0 23/1/2001 21:21> host:210.23.105.10 src:210.23.105.10 dst:208.228.154.2(gatekeeper.dataprompt.com) proto:tcp sport:1581 dport:smtp =========================================== hme0 is my EXTERNAL interface and WHY are these entries SHOWING UP?? They SHOULD NOT Be as far as I know. From what I can tell I know that these entrys are NOT SUPPOSED to be in here but they ARE. Can anybody give me a definitive answer BEFORE I blow another one of my CCSA 'free' Support calls? This is driving me nuts.. Why are the external interface entries showing up ??? -- Miles D.
