Hey Mike (CkPt Linux Gurus), Do your VPNs run to SecurRemote and does encrypted DNS work over the tunnel? I have SecurRemote working to our FW/Mgmt Linux box but if you try to quiery for a name from the internal DNS it times out. Can telnet to it and query directly from it (nslookup). I have read the split/encrypted dns document. I'm at a loss. I have had it working on Solaris CkPt. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Thomi" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, February 09, 2001 5:37 AM Subject: Re: [FW1] Questions about CheckPoint 2000 Enteprise Suite -SP2 + Linux > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Friday, February 09, 2001 1:12 PM > Subject: [FW1] Questions about CheckPoint 2000 Enteprise Suite -SP2 + Linux > > > > > > The version for Linux is BETA and its stability on the RedHat 6.2 ? > > > > works great, even with kernel 2.2.17 smp, currently running with 13nics, > several vpn tunnels (vpn1-vpn1, vpn1-freeswan, vpn1-sonicwall) > > > The Reporting Module for linux is ok ? > > > > I haven't seen any reporting module for linux yet....I think only solaris > and windoze are supported by checkpoint reporting module. > > try this: www.ginini.com.au/tools/fw1/ > > regards, > mike > > > > ============================================================================ ==== > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at > http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html > ============================================================================ ==== _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
