Well, I tried what you suggested. I backed up my userc.C file and removed SecureClient via Add/Remove Programs. I rebooted and verified that the "in use" files were deleted, and I manually deleted the SecuRemote directory. I ran regedt32 (I prefer that over regedit for everything except searches) and verified that the FW1 registry key was gone. I did a clean install, using the clean userc.C file and rebooted. I got the exact same error on startup. Do you have any ideas as to what it doesn't like? I had de-installed it to document the installation process. However, now I cannot run it. It loads, and I reboot, but it comes up with an "Initialization Error" every time the FWSRSERVICE.EXE tries to run. Any clues? I've searched around but noone has reported this problem before. My Win9x and WinNT clients are running just fine. HELP!
