RE: [FW1] NOKIA VRRP logging to management server via wrong inter face?

Hi all,

Thank you very much for your hints, they allowed me to solve the problem
I was having.

Although I am still wondering what happened ... I'll post another entry
with regards to
 this issue.

Met vriendelijke groeten - Bien à vous - Kind regards

Hello,

Configuration:

2 X Nokia IP440 VRRP monitored circuits
FW1 V4.1 SP2
Mgnt Server V4.1 SP2 Windows NT

Problem:

What can cause one of the firewalls to connect to the management server via
external interface and thus fail, while the other one successfully connects
to the management server via the internal interface?

- IPSO configuration should be identical
- Firewall objects in objects.c are identical (except internal addresses
obviously)
- All NAT removed to avoid problems
- As the management server is internal, executed fw putlic -n 'internal
address' on both firewalls

Thanks in advance,

Patrick DEWILDE
