Tracey, The lines in fwopsec.conf are allowing connections on the Event Logging API port. They are setting the port number to 18187(default) and allowing authorised connections. This will allow applications like Content Screening programs to write events directly into your firewall log. It seems that these were added by one of the FW patch installations or v4.1 and I am wondering if it is related to my ftp via cvp woes. sam_allow_remote_requests no # ELA Proxy Configuration ela_proxy auth_port 18187 ela_proxy auth_type ssl_opsec ela_proxy fwd_machine localhost Thanks, Tracy A.
