you may be able to do some fancy Static NAT footwork on the firewall protecting the P-1 box - i.e. use private addresses on the P-1 box and then translate the outgoing traffic from each CMA to the same IP , and translate incoming traffic from each fw module to the individual CMA's IP.... not sure if it will work tho

just a thought - if you're implementing P-1, which at my last recollection costs about $100K, shouldn't you be able to spare some IP addresses for a few bucks??

cheers

Hi,

has anybody implemented Provider-1?
I guess I have to give a pubblic address to every cma and put it in the Master tab on the firewall module.
Isn't this a waste of IP addresses?
Any suggestion?

Thank u
.

Andrea
