FW1 runs on SuSE 6.4 / 7 too. But you have to mess around with the /sbin/init.d/rcX.d stuff and if you running SMP Kernel, you have to edit the fw1-scripts too. The best is you analyze first the rpm installation with "rpm -q --scripts -l --triggerscripts -p CPfw1-4x...rpm" I am running a productive env fw1-41sp2 with about 13 nics and several vpn tunnels (fw1-fw1, fw1-freeswan, fw1-sonicwall) without problems. regards, mike ----- Original Message ----- From: "Langa Kentane" <[email protected]> To: "Firewall-1 Mailing List (E-mail)" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, January 23, 2001 10:50 AM Subject: RE: [FW1] FW1 on Linux > > How about Jurix? > > -----Original Message----- > From: Blomfield, Adam [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: 22 January 2001 19:34 > To: [email protected] > Subject: [FW1] FW1 on Linux > > Will FW1 run on Slackware 7.1 or just Red Hat 6.1? > ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
