There are no conversion utilities I know of, your best friend will have to be a whiteboard, piece of paper and your old rules Yes, you will have to place your DNS somewheres else. You can use NT/OS password for Authentication (not a good idea in my opinion), though not NT groups, for that you may need to use some RADIUS product.... I have had pretty good luck with FUNK Steel Belted Radius. Jon Date: Wed, 10 Jan 2001 10:06:39 -0500 From: [email protected] Subject: [FW1] Raptor to FW1 This message is in MIME format. Is there anyone that has made this migration and would like to offer any insight? I have a couple of issues that I am concerned about. One is that Raptor included DNS while FW1 does not and the other is the use of the NT O/S password for user authentication. With Raptor, I could use NT groups with authentication. Any information is appreciated.
