[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] RE: [FW1] Need Help with Netware 5 IP
Is the internal network running an non-routable IP Scheme? If so, then the server will not be accessible by servers outside the network due to routing issues. The NAT on the firewall will not change the data portion of the packet, which is where the server "advertises" itself with SLP. The easiest workaround is to bind a valid IP to the server on a different NIC on the internal network...and have the firewall pass the packets, but not do an address translation. Let me know if this helps!
