RE: [FW1] Oracle MTS and FW-1

Title: Oracle MTS and FW-1

some ideas:

-make sure you were using SP2 or above (SP3)
-if using static nat (and using sqlnet, make sure to explicitly define sqlnet in rulebase (ANY doesn't cover it))
-if using net8 make sure to explicitly define sqlnet2 in your rulebase
-...there was some issue about net8 if using domain names for host resolution vs. dotted decimal...  forget....

Hello I have an issue with CP and Oracle MTS.  Oracle MTS simply does not work, we had to rip CP out and replace with it with Netscreen 1000.   Did any one experienced identical problem, and know a way to make CP work with Oracle MTS.  FYI IP440 v 4.1 with all the latest service packs.

Thank you,

Michael
