Thanks for the feedback. My only problem is that I am running FW-1 3.x. There is a service rule for Real-audio, but is UDP 7170 based as opposed to 554, which is what the vendor which I am trying to connect to the service through says that I need to use. Is there a way for me to specify a range of UDP ports? I have heard that you need to open UDP 6970-6999 but am not sure how to do that. Source_____________Destination____________Objects Internal ALL ANY Real-Audio-Data RTSP Real-Audio The RTSP and Real-audio are pre-defined services, I am not sure of the Real-audio-data which is a UDP object set up for port 7070 with a range of ports set to 6970-7170. This is the only rule I need to make this work.....you can not use ANY/ANY/ANY you must define it specifically in a rule. Also this did NOT work until 4.0 with the latest service pack. The latest 4.x version of QuickTime will also work with MS Proxy which it did not before.....so that is another route you can go. -Mike > ---------- > From: Brad Beaird > Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2000 9:23 AM > To: '[email protected]' > Subject: [FW1] quicktime > > > Hello, > > I'm having problems getting quicktime player to function through my > firewall > using what they call "UDP, RTSP Port ID 554".
