RE: [FW1] Does Java Applet need ports 9012 and 9013?

Java Apps can run on any port the writer wants.

I have only one instance of setting up a user defined port (other port 80),
which I can made a rule internal user can connect to this specific host
using the defined port.

Subject: [FW1] Does Java Applet need ports 9012 and 9013?

Some users need to access to an external web server running Java applets.
Do we need to open ports 9012 and 9013 on Check Point Firewall-1 v4.0?

Any comments/advise are appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Ivan
