RE: [FW1] Hardning of OS.



What OS are you trying to harden?  Hardening means the stripping out of excess fluff that you do not need.  Take out services that do not need to be running, etc.  There are documents on CheckPoint's site, SUN, sabernet.net, www.alw.nih.gov.  Lance Spitzner has some good documentation for Firewall-1.
