You can enter in any username or password. It's placing *local in the Manager Server that pulls up the demo: User Password *local Have Fun! Basically, it was possible by entering some specific things into the FW-1 policy editor gui to login to the GUI only and not attach to the management server - this made it possible to play around with the GUI if a management server wasn't available.
