RE: [FW1] Max memory upgrade?

From what I've heard, Checkpoint released the code prematurely and Nokia requested that they take it off the site for now.  Notice how it was only posted to Checkpoint's site and Nokia didn't have it.

It should be released before the end of this month (in theory).

I am very surprised that an OS such as IPSO has a max of 256mb, very surprising......

Does anyone know where IPSO 3.3 is?  I thought it was supposed to be out already.  It appeared on CheckPoint's download site for a couple days then just disappeared again.  Any word out there?

Yes, currently up through IPSO 3.2.1 there is a limit of 256MB of RAM.  You can put more physical memory in the box, and Voyager will report what ever the physical RAM count is, but the operating system will not take advantage of anything above and beyond 256MB.

IPSO 3.3 is just around the corner.  From what I have heard, the 256MB of RAM limitation has been eliminated.  Plus IPSO 3.3 offers some really cool new features!!!

Is there an IPSO limitation?

Actually the box has 3 DIMM slots, so I think it will be 768mb.
