It all depends on how large your disks are, how many of them you have, and what you need to do. In this case, you are running FW-1, and if thats all you will be doing, then you have a baseline. Read the FW-1 docs and see where logs are stored, if you are in doubt. Read them and find out the minumum space needed. Then, accounting for OS software and the size of your disks, make some partitions. There are two things to consider, however. First is that you don't _have_ to make multiple partitions. You can set your entire disk as 1 partition and it will not break anything on the system. It might make backup and other sysadmin type tasks more complicated, but it is not a big deal. Secondly, you can (with extra software) increase the size of a partition later in life if you have found that it is too small.
