FW-1 modules must be managed by the same management module, be running on the same platform and be the same version for state sync to work (Checkpoint requirements). Stonebeat Fullcluster does not provide state sync between the FW-1 modules but the state sync can run on the dedicated heartbeat network between the Stonebeat/FW-1 nodes which reduces the possibility of latency for the state sync. I know that using Enterprise Managment Console is more comfortable and secure, avoiding errors. You manage both nodes from one GUI.
