RE: [FW1] IAS + w2k

This may be of some help for people.

I hang out in the news://news.microsoft.com
microsoft.public.internet.radius newsgroup.
Low volume and a couple of MS guys seem to hang out there. Just do not
expect a quick response

get
an access-reject packet) via a radius dial-up unless the NAS supports mschap

SP5/6 doesn't break it. Probably, you forgot to add "Grant dialin
permission" to users in User Manager. MS Radius requires it starting SP5.

Anyone had any success with Windows 2000+Internet Authentication Services
(RADIUS)? I know it works on NT4, and that SP5/6 breaks it. Would w2k have
the same malfunction?
