You haven't said what you mail server is. It is likely that E-Alladdin is enforcing strict MAIL FROM checks and your mail server is not 100% RFC compliant and is sending blank <> MAIL FROM headers when sending NDR's We had the exact problem with a Lotus Notes 4.6 MTA a couple of weeks ago and a new build of Viruswall (Build 1078), fortunately we got Trend to rebuild viruswall (Build1079) without this check. I've de-activated the gateway, changed my resource on the Console, so the mail is only intercepted by the CVP, and then fowarded to the real SMTP server. the result stays the same, no non-delivery reports.
