RE: [FW1] remote gui not displaying messages during install

I didn't receive any responses to my query, but I was able to correct the
problem by installing the policy using the Motif GUI. My Windows management
clients all work now as well. Just thought I'd include this in case anyone
else encounters this problem.

Subject: [FW1] remote gui not displaying messages during install

Running fw1 4.0 on Solaris 2.6. When applying policy using Windows GUI, the
progress window appears but the normal messages of "compiling" and
"installing" are not displaying. Changes are not being applied. The abort
button text does change to close as it normally would after successfully
installing a policy. We've restarted the firewall, but no change. Any
ideas?

Thanks in advance.
