[FW1] FTP on static NAT

Can you FTP when you have a static NAT setup 

were each address resovls to a valid internet address

so if i am on the internet and i want to FTP into a server on my internal
network that has a 10.10.10.1 address on the internet 
and NATs statically to a 10.6.0.1 address

i have setup this on our office network 
and i can't ftp in
