[FW1] Aliases for Interfaces

Hi all,
I wanted to change the names of the interfaces of my Firewall, for it
will be easier to read the logs and export and analyse them. I've FW1
4.1 SP2 on Winnt 4.0.
So I went in the description of the interfaces and changed it.
At first, it didn't work. I've managed to have the official-name of
the interfaces changed, but not their description. I stopped the FW,
changed the descriptions of the interfaces in the conf\objects.C file
and restarted the FW. I checked and the description of the interfaces
changed. Yahoo!!!
But, the description of the interfaces in the log viewer didn't
change. I found that the description of the interfaces was still bad
in the database\objects.C file. I stopped the FW for the second time,
modified this file, restarted the FW... I was very surprised to see
that my modifications were scratched ; there are still the old
descriptions of the interfaces in this file.
So where the hell is FW1 looking for the descriptions of these
interfaces ? What can I do ?
