RE: [FW1] quad port ethernet



The Checkpoint treats it just like the OS, As 4 seperate networks cards.
Routing is done the same as if there actually were 4 network cards.

Also, you don't actually have to use all 4 ports.

I have no experience with your setup. I have used the adaptec 4 porter with
NT 4.0 with good results.

how does checkpoint and it's underlying OS recognize a quad port
ethernet.... 4 interfaces or just 4 ports?

in particular, does anyone have experience w/ a quad port enet and
solaris for intel on a compaq rackmount proliant ?
