I am trying to get a VPN Accelerator card installed and running in a Sun Ultra 60 with Solaris 7. After installing the device, booting the machine and getting to the OK prompt, running show-devs lists the device as pcicafe,1@2. I understand this to mean that the Ultra 60 sees the card. Then I install the software driver (pkgadd -d . CPvpna-41) from the cp2000_strong/solaris2/Add-Ons directory from the CD. It installs fine and says to reboot to finish. Upon doing so, the start screen begins to show the device loading up but lists continuous attempts to reset the device failing. After getting into the Desktop, running lunadiag says no slot available. fw accel stat lists device driver not loaded or device not installed. Anybody run in to this?
