RE: [FW1] SMTP Security Server doesn't overhaul MX records



I don't know what the CheckPoint official line is with this, but we suffered
from the same problem...

The solution we adopted was to change where the FW-1 security email server
was used, i.e. for outgoing email the security server intercepted traffic
from the internal network to the DMZ, allowing the DMZ sendmail process to
freely send out. Inbound email was still intercepted prior to hitting the
DMZ.
