[FW1] Loads of Firewall messages in the NT Application Log

Hello everyone,

We have recently rebooted our management server (Firewall-1 Version3 on NT)
and ever since the reboot loads of horrible red Firewall messages are
appearing in the NT application log. These consist of the same thing, which
is

"FireWall-1: DecodeFwSet : buffer length checksum failed"

I've stopped/started the firewall service on the MS but to no avail, the
same messages keep on appearing - bless em! 

Has anyone experienced the same problem?, does anyone know a resolution? -
if so, do they mind sharing this with a negligible firewall administrator
like myself ?
