Hi all,

Phoneboy's FAQ says only certain files in the $fwdir\conf directory
need to
be backed up, so this is all I'm doing right now (in addition to
route -p
print > route.txt and local.arp).

What's in the database directory and should I back this up as well?
Thanks,

Ian

Hi Matthew

You will have to backup all files in the following directories:

$FWDIR/conf
$FWDIR/database

Also you might like to first check phoneboy's site and search for
files to
backup. But the contents of the above directories is a must

Hope this helps :-)

Simi

We are switching our firewall's OS and wondering which files contain
the
network objects we have (painstakingly) created. Is 'objects.c' the
only
file required, or are there more?
Many thanks. Regards,

Matt
