If Telemate did not change the way to track authenticated users you will have to manually manage the database of users. I remember I created departments a subdirectories and moved user names into the appropriate department. Everything else was OK. ========================================================= Best, Roman M. We have locked down access by allowing only certain addresses/protocols etc. However, we do not authenticate outbound web surfing/ftp. Now I have heard various comments in the past:- "Don't auth outbound - you will only have contstant headaches......" "You must auth outbound for security/logging/accountability......" Now I can appreciate both sides of the argument but we are considering replacing our SecureView (ropey) with Telemate (looks great) but this will really need user info in the reports to be useful and so I am again contemplating user auth for web/ftp access. So...questions:- 1. Comments ? 2. How does this impact on Secure Remote users - can I reasonably use just one login per person regardless of whether they are remote or internal ? 3. Performance impact ? 4. Gotchas ?
