RE: [FW1] FW: BrownOrifice can break firewalls!

Hopefully at Nuclear Controls or AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLL they
are not surfing the net PERIOD.

And if they ARE, i hope they are using a strong firewall
as well as a transparent PROXY doing FILTERING.

Firewall will protect as much as it can, but get yourself
a strong transparent proxy server. Hell even the unix
varients of "Squid" work excellent and scale REALLY well.

You can use squid to block the code you feel is unsafe.

Most importantly though, run an SMS system or OpenView and
manage your pc's so the latest security fixes/patches and
enahancements are installed.

We have known that this would happen since the day Java and ActiveX were
invented. A firewall is not the final solution for security. You still
have to secure your machines, applications and users individually.

You are not surfing the web with Java and ActiveX enabled in a maximum
security environment (such as nuclear control systems or air traffic
control) are you?
