Hi, You should look after your file (under solaris) : /etc/inetinit /etc/rootusr /etc/rcS.d/S30rootusr.sh Check the rights on each file (the 2 firsts should be 700 or 500 at least), the third one is a link on the second one. The first deals with /etc/gateways the second one deals with /etc/netmasks. You can find help in this two files (look at the comment header in the file). Hope it'll help you. bye David "Hartmann, Josef" wrote: > Hi, > > I also have a question regarding this, maybe you could help me. > > I have setup /etc/gateways and /etc/netmasks. > E.g. using these nets: > 192.168.1.0/26 255.255.255.128 > 192.168.1.140 255.255.255.252 > > After booting the fw does not set the netmaks for these routes properly. > Could you imagine why? > > Josef -- David LEFEVRE CARDIF - Architecture et Sécurité Opérationnelle [email protected] - Tél : 01 41 42 76 63 ********************************************************************** L'intégrité de ce message n'étant pas assurée sur Internet, CARDIF ne peut être tenu responsable de son contenu.
